Day 5

We are all getting ready for supper!
This morning, we either worked in the Nutrition Center or we worked at the orphanage.  It was so sad. When you put the babies down they would cry and reach for you. It is amazing how much we take for granted in America.  Babies are held and children play and get attention, but not here.  Here, there are so many children without anyone to care for them.  The mission has done a wonderful job of saving these childrens lives and giving them a place to live, but they need human touch and attention.  It is such a blessing to provide them with some of the attention they need.

There was a big ceremony for the dedication of the new hospital this morning. It was very nice and we got to hear some cultural music and eat some Guatemalan food.  It was all very good, but we were stuffed by the time we actually got to the dedication part which made it kind of hard to stand out in the sun:)  God has truly blessed this mission with some incredible things.

The construction team has almost completed all 4 greenhouses. Tomorrow we will finish putting up the poles and netting. Pray for us as we complete our jobs.  We are all very tired and we need the Lord's strength.

Pictures to come! Love you guys!
